ITHACA, NY - The RIT Volleyball team defeated John Carroll in the fifth place match of the Ithaca College Tournament on Saturday afternoon, winning by scores of 31-29, 27-30, 30-16, 30-22 to finish 3-1 on the weekend.  In addition, senior setter Katie Werner (Trumbull, CT/Trumbull) (Trumbull, CT/Trumbull) was named to the All-Tournament team.

RIT (8-1) is back in action on Friday and Saturday, as they host the 12-team RIT Invitational.  Last season, RIT went 3-1 and finished third in the two-day event.
