FREDONIA, N.Y.--The Rochester Institute of Technology volleyball team traveled to Fredonia tonight to face the Blue Devils to close out their regular season. The Tigers just made it by Fredonia with the 3-1 (29-31, 30-13, 30-16, 30-28)victory.

Junior Missy Groginski (Brewerton, N.Y./Paul V. Moore)(Brewerton, N.Y.)normally heads the Tigers defensive attack, however tonight Groginski paced RIT with 22 kills and 11 digs. Captain Katie Sander (Scotia, N.Y./Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) (Scotia, N.Y.) followed Groginski with 15 kills, and led the defense grabbing 20 digs.

The Tigers will return to action this weekend when they host the Empire 8 Tournament. The winner of the Empire 8 Tournament will have the right to compete in the NCAA Tournament.
