Kiekebelt led a stout RIT defense in the 14-5 win over Hartwick on Saturday, grabbing eight ground balls and causing three turnovers.  He won 11-of-15 face offs, also recording an assist.  Kiekebelt was a main reason RIT dominated defensively allowing only 11 shots to get through on net. The Tigers won the ground ball battle 43-27 and were 16-of-17 on clearing attempts.  Kiekebelt leads the squad with 33 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers in five games this season.
