Heisig helped RIT to a 68-63 win over Elmira in the Tigers Empire 8 opener on Friday. The junior forward scored a career-high 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Tigers in the win over the Soaring Eagles. He was 8-of-15 shooting from the floor and went 2-for-5 from the foul line. Heisig is second on the Tigers in scoring this season, averaging 13 points per game. He leads the squad with 8.0 rebounds per contest.
