Gillies helped RIT to a 2-0 mark last week. The senior attack tallied 10 points on nine goals and an assist. He had four goals and an assist in a 20-6 win over Utica on Wednesday. On Saturday he scored all five of his six goals in the second half leading the Tigers past arch rival Nazareth 13-8. Gillies leads RIT in scoring with 50 points on 42 goals and eight assists. He is third in the Empire 8 in goals per game averaging 2.62 per contest. RIT will host either Nazareth or Ithaca on Friday in one Empire 8 semifinal at 4 p.m.
