Stecher, who plays defense, led RIT to a 1-1 week and a big Empire 8 victory over Utica. On Tuesday, Stecher shut down top scorer Mary Walsh from 11th ranked University of Rochester and assisted on Brittany Peters' game-winning opportunity against Regionally ranked Utica on Saturday.
