DeMichiel continued his excellent play, stopping 51-of-53 shots while recording his fifth shutout of the season, as RIT swept a weekend series from Air Force and clinched the AHA regular season title for the third time in the last four seasons. On Friday, DeMichiel stopped 24 shots including a point blank save on Matt Fairchild with 30 seconds left in regulation in RIT’s 3-2 overtime win.  On Saturday, DeMichiel stopped all 27 shots he faced, including 11 in the third period of RIT’s 3-0 win.  DeMichiel is 19-4-1 in AHA play this season with a 1.75 goals against average and .933 save percentage.  Overall, DeMichiel is fourth nationally with a 2.11 goals against average.
