Schaffer was mamed the Most Outstanding Player of the 2007 RIT Tournament on Saturday, leading the Tigers to their first team title in the event since the 2001 season.  She recorded 72 kills and slammed 60 kills in RIT's four wins over the weekend.  Schaffer opened the tournament with a tremendous effort of 30 digs and 20 kills in a win over SUNY Fredonia.  She capped the weekend with 15 kills and 12 digs in a three-game win over Nazareth in the championship match.
