Ringwald enjoyed an incredible weekend, with six points (three goals, and three assists) in two wins over Connecticut. On Saturday, Ringwald, who entered the game with 10 goals in 110 career games, became the first Tiger to record a natural hat-trick, and score three goals in a period at the Division I level. He potted three consecutive first period goals in a 7-0 win over Connecticut. It was Ringwald’s first collegiate hat-trick, and RIT’s fifth in five seasons at the Division I level. The night before, Ringwald dished out three assists in a 6-2 win over Connecticut. Ringwald has three goals and six assists for nine points in seven games. He needs just three points for 100 in his collegiate career.
