Rees won his team-record ninth game of the year, a complete-game four-hitter, propelling the RIT baseball team to the ECAC Upstate Division III Baseball Championship game for the second straight season, as the Tigers defeated St. John Fisher 7-0 on Friday afternoon. In the outing, the junior right-hander allowed just four hits and struck out seven. The complete games was his ninth of the year, also a team record. Rees lowered his ERA to 2.18.
