New helped the Tigers complete their Empire 8 conference dual matches with a perfect 5-0 record and 8-1 overall record. The Tigers have won eight straight. In three matches this week, New finished with a perfect 6-0 record (3-0 singles, 3-0 doubles). New is currently 7-2 at fifth singles for the Tigers. He has teamed up with Frank Solome to win eight of nine doubles matches in 2005.
