Williamson won the NYSCTC Championships in Canton, NY on Saturday. He made a bold move at the mile and a half mark, running away quickly from the competition. His initial 10 second break was never challenged and he cruised the last 3.5 miles for an impressive 16 second victory, covering the 8.000-meter course in 25:36. With his win at last spring's NYSCTC 1500m win, Williamson becomes the first multiple winner at the NYSCTC championships in RIT history.
