Kapp won three individual events, and helped the 200 and 400 medley relay teams to wins to help RIT to a first place finish at the 2021 Don Richards Invitational. Kapp set a NCAA "B" cut qualifying time and a Liberty League record in the 200 breaststroke, winning in a time of 2:02.03. He also was a winner in the 200 IM (1:53.57) and the 100 breaststroke (56.98), and helped the 200 (1:32.44) and 400 (3:05.21) medley relays to school records.
