Perez was victorious in both the 100-meter high hurdles and 100-yard dash at the Hamilton Invitational in Clinton, NY.  She annexed the hurdles in a time of :15.92 seconds and sprinted the 100-meter dash in :13.06. Perez was the 2005 Empipre 8 Indoor Track Rookie of the Year.
