Junior Allison Griggs was named Outstanding Female Field Events Athlete by the NYSCTC. Griggs provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships in the shot put, where she is now ranked 12th nationally in the event. Griggs threw the shot 13.07m (42’ 10.75”). However, Griggs finished second in the weight throw, where a throw of 15.61m (51’ 02.75”) was good for second place.
