Smith won the 184 lb. division at the Ned McGinley Invitational, Saturday. Smith, the No. 5 seed, beat Kristian Koroveshi (Stevens), 7-2 in his opening match. He pinned Cole Chase (Roger Williams) 2:29 into their round of 16 match. Smith beat No. 4 Dmitry Derbedyenyev (NYU), 2-1 in the quarterfinals. He pinned Porter Gresko (Merchant Marine) 5:24 into their semifinal match and beat No. 7 Vitali Daniels (W&J) 6-2 in the title match.
