Racing in incredibly wet, muddy conditions, Kingstedt picked up his third win in as many races this season and second over this course, completing the 8,000-meter distance at the Houghton Highlander Invitational in a time of 26:15.6, 58 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher, Ethan Francis of SUNY Fredonia. He led No. 27 to the team win, four points ahead of No. 13 Geneseo. Kingstedt also won the 2017 Highlander Invitational and earlier this season on Aug. 31, won the Highlander Short Course Twilight Invitational.
