Simone led RIT to a pair of wins at the Doug May Memorial Tournament to kick off the 2018 season. The sophomore scored two game-winning goals, both on penalty kicks, in two games for the Tigers. Friday, Simone converted a penalty kick in the first minute in a 3-0 win over St. John Fisher. He finished the weekend with a penalty kick goal in the 100th minute to give RIT a 2-1 win over The College at Brockport on Sunday. In addition, Simone helped patrol the midfield and was a key reason for RIT's success.
