Rothrock set two school records over the weekend at the UNYSCSA Championships. He set the school record of 52.60 in the 100-yard butterfly on Thursday evening in his leg of the 400-yard medley relay. On Friday, he just missed re-breaking the mark with a 52.66 finish in the 100-fly, placing 10th overall. Rothrock was also part of the team that was fifth in the 400-yard medley relay with a school record setting time of 3:32.30 in the prelims and finished in 3:32.41 during the finals. He was also part of the 400-free relay team that was fifth.
