Burkhart broke her own school record in the pentathlon and recorded the ninth best score in Division III to date, at the Brockport Golden Eagle Invitational on Friday evening at the Brockport Special Events and Recreation Center. Burkhart recorded a score of 3,168 points to finish second, just behind Kylee Bartlett of Rochester, who tallied 3,198 points. That is the fourth best score in Division III to date. Burkhart began with a third place finish in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 9.50 seconds, and tied for third in the high jump with a personal best leap of 1.55 meters. Burkhart recorded a personal best throw in the shot put, winning that event with a throw of 10.40 meters. She had a jump of 4.67 in the long jump before finishing her evening by winning the 800-meters in a time of 2:33.15.
