Giannino picked right up where he left off last season, winning the race, besting 161 other runners at the SUNY Oswego Cross Country Invitational on Saturday. Giannino, the 2013 Liberty League Runner of the Year, emerged victorious by 12 seconds, recording a time of 24:51.3 over the 7,750-meter course. He had a mile rate of 5:10.
