Szybist, the reigning Liberty League Rookie of the Year, slammed 63 kills (6.3/set) while hitting .355 in leading RIT to a 2-1 record at Misericordia over the weekend. She opened the year with 27 kills, hitting .429 in a four-set win over the hosts. Szybist added 17 kills in a three-set loss to Geneseo and 19 kills to go along with five blocks in a three-set win over Misericordia, She also added 12 digs (1.2/set) and eight blocks (0.8/set).
