Perez took home a 1st, 2nd , and 3rd in her three runs at the Raider Challenge meet on Saturday at Roberts Wesleyan College. Her winning time of 15.92 in the 100m hurdles qualified her for the ECAC meet in May and puts her 3rd on the NYSCTC performance list at this point in the year. Perez will run faster later in the year as this was only her 2nd race over the hurdles in the outdoor season. A short while late Lakeisha followed up with a 2nd in the 100m dash with a time of 12.79. Earlier in the meet Lakeisha ran the 2nd leg on the RIT 3rd place 4x100m relay team. At this point Lakeisha is beginning to round into shape as she continues her quest to show she is one of the top sprinters in the NYS conference.
