Balenton was named MVP of the Harold J. Brodie Tournament, averaging 17.0 points and 4.5 rebounds, while shooting 52 percent and 63.4 percent from 3-point range to lead RIT to the Brodie Championship. He tallied 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting, including 4-of-8 from behind the arc in an 87-66 win over Alfred State. He added 13 points, two rebounds and two steals in a 97-92 win over Baptist Bible College in Saturday's championship. Balenton leads RIT in scoring averaging 17.0 points per game this season, as the squad is off to its first 4-0 start since 1996-97.
