Rob Bauman begins his ninth year in the RIT Athletic Training Office in 2025-26. He works primarily with the men's soccer, swimming & diving and men's lacrosse teams in addition to assisting other teams and in the athletic training office.
A certified athletic trainer for the past 23years, Bauman graduated from John Carroll University with a degree in physical education with a concentration in athletic training before earning a master’s degree in Athletic Training from Ohio University. Bauman also holds a personal training certification from the Cooper Institute.
Prior to arriving at RIT, Bauman was an athletic trainer at St. John Fisher College, Genesee Community College and Churchville-Chili Central School. Bauman also worked at LeRoy Physical Therapy and worked with the Rochester Raiders professional indoor team.
Bauman resides in West Henrietta with his wife, Bridget, and two children, Hanna and Robby.
