Micah Chapman enters his first season as Coordinator of Athletic Communications at RIT.
Chapman previously spent five years as Sports Information Director at Division-II Roberts Wesleyan from 2011-16, before a two-year stint as Assistant Athletic Communications Director at Division-II University of Colorado-Colorado Springs from 2016-18. He also spent five years working as a digital marketing specialist in the multifamily property management industry for five years prior to joining the RIT staff.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, Chapman was an Airman with multiple overseas deployments in support of the Global War on Terrorism during his four years of service as a vehicle operator. He then went on to earn a bachelor's degree in media promotions from Greenville University (Ill.) in 2010 before completing a master's in sports management at West Virginia University a year later.
A native of nearby Churchville, N.Y., Micah resides in Chili with his wife, Lauren, and his two children, Nolan and Harper.
