Jake Kapel joined the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in October 2024 as the Men's Ice Hockey Operations Coordinator. Bringing extensive experience in equipment management and operational leadership, Jake plays a pivotal role in ensuring the team's logistical and operational excellence.

Before joining RIT, Jake served as the Director of Equipment Operations for the New Jersey Titans (2022–2024), where he managed equipment and apparel for six teams and supervised operational staff. He has also worked as the Head Equipment Manager for the Jamestown Rebels and Lake Erie Bighorns, developing expertise in equipment preparation, team communication, and game-day operations.

Jake's commitment to excellence and teamwork is reflected in his involvement with prestigious events, such as the NAHL Top Prospect Showcases and the Robertson Cup Final, where he provided critical support for players and staff.
