Rochester native, Jackie Crossgrove, joined the RIT Sports Medicine staff in the summer of 2022. She is in her third year with the department in the 2024-2025 school year and serves as the primary Athletic Trainer for the RIT volleyball, wrestling, and baseball programs, while also assisting other teams and overseeing the scheduling efforts for sports medicine. Crossgrove is a certified trainer for the Division III LGBTQ OneTeam Program.
Crossgrove earned her Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from SUNY Cortland. She pursued her Master’s in Health and Human Performance at Northwestern State University of Louisiana, where she worked directly with the Division I Track & Field/Cross Country teams. After graduation, she served as Head Athletic Trainer for the Rochester RazorSharks semi-professional basketball team and worked with various local high school athletic departments.
Crossgrove holds several certifications essential to his role, including CPR/First Aid Instructor certification, IASTM Hawkgrips Level I certification, Myofascial Decompression Level I certification, along with being a 200 hour trained Yoga Instructor. Crossgrove currently teaches a yoga class for athletes once a week.
