Dr. Blonski enters her 11th year as the head Team Physician for Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) athletics and program director for the primary care sports medicine fellowship for Rochester Regional Health since its inception in 2021.

Dr. Blonski joined Rochester General Hospital in 2013, where she helped establish and grow the sports medicine program from the ground up. Blonski’s first experience in the Rochester area was while completing her undergraduate education at the University of Rochester.  She stayed local and worked as a lab technician at Strong Memorial Hospital before attending medical school in San Francisco.  She completed her Family Medicine Residency in Binghamton, NY and Sports Medicine Fellowship in Grand Rapids, MI then returned to Binghamton to help build the educational program in sports medicine in 2007.  She stayed there until 2012 when she moved back to Rochester to be closer to her family.

Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, Dr. Blonski grew up in a hardworking family. Her father was a machinist for a regional hospital system, and her mother was an OBGYN in private practice. They instilled in her the value of hard work and the importance of helping others. She has an older brother and younger sister who live out of state, but they maintain close contact and you will often see them supporting the RIT sports teams whenever they are in town.
