Brianna Cooper

Brianna Cooper is a dedicated healthcare professional with expertise in athletic training and functional nutritional therapy, she joined the RIT staff as a part-time athletic trainer in January 2025.

As the Founder and CEO of Arise to Wellness, she has been empowering individuals since 2018 to take control of their health through personalized nutrition plans tailored to address specific bodily signals and symptoms. In addition, Cooper serves as the Director of Nutritional Therapy at At Home With Wellness in Rochester where she oversees all nutritional therapy operations, mentors fellow practitioners, and develops content for newsletters, social media, and educational events.

Cooper has extensive experience as a certified athletic trainer, having worked with Bryant & Stratton College (2022-24) and the University of Rochester (2016-21), where she specialized in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and post-surgical care for athletes. Her expertise in rehabilitation extends to hip and shoulder injuries, and she has provided clinical care and training coverage for high school and collegiate sports programs.

Earlier in her career, Cooper worked as an athletic trainer at Geneva General Hospital (2012-16), providing sports medicine services at Penn Yan High School and assisting orthopedic physicians as a physician extender.

Cooper holds a Master’s in Athletic Training (2012) and a Bachelor’s in Health Care Studies with a specialization in Health and Fitness Training (2011) from Daemen University. She later pursued specialized education in nutritional therapy through the Nutritional Therapy Association (2018).
