2017-18: Competed in 14 bouts at 157 lbs. … picked up four victories … recorded a pair of wins at the season-opening Ithaca Invitational … earned a 10-6 win over Graysen Sorensen of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at the Budd Whitehill Duals.
2016-17: Did not compete.
2015-16: Won six bouts, wrestling primarily at 149 lbs. … won his first bout against Michael Glasser of Stevens Tech at the Ithaca Invitational … earned a win at 149 lbs. at the New York State Intercollegiate Wrestling Championship … jumped to 197 lbs., beating Rene Sousa of King’s College in an 8-6 sudden victory in overtime for his only dual match victory.
Before RIT: Wrestled at Albany Academy … career H.S. record of 127-26 … also played football and ran track.
Personal: Marketing major … son of Dawn and James Thomas … has three siblings, Zarek, Nazinga, and Matia ... younger brother Zarek is a freshman with the RIT wrestling program in 2017-18.
