Jeff Freedman begins his sixth season as a volunteer assistant coach at RIT under coach Scott Stever. Freedman was a volunteer assistant previously at RIT under Head Coach Earl Fuller from 1979-1983.

Freedman is no stranger to success at the local level. He wrestled at Eastridge High School, and graduated in 1974. At the collegiate level, Freedman was a National Champion at 158 lbs. in 1979, and two-time All-American at Ashland (Ohio) University.

Freedman lives in Rochester, and owns Little Venice Pizzeria. He has two children, a daughter Alexandra, and son, Dylan.
