• Katerina Spalova was born in Prague, Czech Republic
• Parents are Alena and Ondrej
• Has an older sister, Adnrea
• Enjoys watching movies, going to the theater and playing board games with friends in her spare time
• Best advice received, “Life is a climb but the view is great.”
• Lists her mother as being her biggest inspiration because, “she supported me every step of the way and encouraged me to pursue my interests, even when things were challenging. Her constant motivation and belief gave me the confidence to try new things, work hard and stay true to myself.”
• Started playing volleyball when she was six, inspired by her mom who played professionally
