Tara Masci begins her second season as the goalkeeper coach in 2023. Masci is the founder of Goalkeeper Performance Training which is committed to providing the highest quality training for goalkeepers of all skill levels.
Masci served as the Women’s Goalkeeper Coach at Monroe Community College, from 2002-04.
Masci is a member and presenter of the United Goalkeeper Alliance, a worldwide organization made up of elite Goalkeeper Coaches who are committed to best practice in teaching and coaching our youth goalkeepers.
She played three seasons at West Virginia University. During her junior year at WVU Masci served as President of the Student Athlete Advisory Council, (SAAC) and was chosen to represent WVU athletics at a national leadership conference in Orlando, FL. She played for the pre-professional W-League Rochester Ravens, playing six seasons including an exhibition against the US Women’s National Team.
Masci holds her Advanced National Goalkeeper Diploma from United Soccer Coaches as well as a D license from United States Soccer Federation.
A native of Rochester, Masci graduated from The Aquinas Institute where she started for four years, earning All-Greater Rochester First Team honors twice. Aquinas won its first two Section V championships and made their first ever State final appearance in program history. She is also an Aquinas Sports Hall of Fame Inductee.
