Monica Cook

Former RIT standout Monica Cook begins her third season as an assistant on the RIT women’s soccer coaching staff. Cook, the 2011 Mark Ellingson Award winner for academic excellence at RIT, was named to the 2010 CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District I Women’s Soccer Team.

Cook, an imaging science major, was a second team all-district selection with a 4.00 GPA.

Cook played in all 17 games in 2010, and recorded a goal and an assist for three points. As a sophomore, Cook tallied a career-best two goals, and finished her career with four goals and two assists for 10 points in 62 games.

She is currently pursuing her Ph.D from RIT in imaging science.
