Katie Dry begins her third season as an assistant coach for the women's soccer program. Dry will serve as the goalkeeper coach.
Dry enjoyed a stellar playing and coaching career with Bucknell before joining the Tigers. Dry played four seasons (2003-06) and was a three-year starter in goal for the Bison, setting two records and equaling three other team marks. She is the school’s all-time leader in wins in a season (12, 2006) and career (30). In 2005, she helped lead Bucknell to the Patriot League Championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. In addition, Dry was a 2006 Co-SIDA/ESPN The Magazine Second Team Academic All-District selection.
From 2008-2010, Dry served as an assistant with the Bison, helping lead the squad to a 21-14-1 record and a pair of second place finishes in the Patriot League.
Originally a native of Greece, Dry was a standout with Mercy High School, graduating in 2003.
Dry earned both her bachelor’s degree (2007) and master’s degree (2010) in biology from Bucknell. In 2013, Dry earned her doctorate in physical therapy from Arcadia University.
