Biography

BEFORE RIT:
  • Transferred from Monroe Community College.
  • Was an honors student throughout her time at Pittsford Sutherland High School.
PERSONAL:
  • Full name: Isabell Katherine Moyer
  • Daughter of Kristen Moyer and Matthew Moyer. 
  • Got into rowing in middle school because she wanted to try a new sport and get into shape. 
  • Favorite athletic moment: Getting her 2K score under eight minutes for the first time. 
  • Says her mother is the biggest influence on her athletic career. "She has always supported me in all my activities and goes to as many of my regattas as possible, even when the weather was bad." 
  • Best advice ever received: "It's okay to have bad days." 
  • Hobbies include hiking, painting, and boxing.
