Nicole Nelson begins her second season as an assistant coach on the RIT women's lacrosse coaching staff in 2019-20. She will work primarily with the defense, and will assist head coach Erin Wagner on all aspects of the program from practice and game-planning, to recruiting and the day-to-day operations of the program.
Nelson is a 2018 graduate of Canisius College where she started all four years on defense for the Golden Griffins. A three-year captain, Nelson finished her career with 127 ground balls, 68 caused turnovers and won 39 draw controls.

A native of Webster, N.Y. Nelson graduated from Canisius with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Wellness.
