Morgan Faas

Morgan Faas begins her third season as an Assistant Coach for the RIT Women’s Lacrosse team in 2017-18. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Tigers coaching staff.
 
Faas received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Canisius College in 2013. She went on to earn a Master’s degree in College Student Personnel Administration from Canisius in 2015.

While at Canisius, Faas played for the Golden Griffins Women’s Lacrosse team. In 2012, she was named MVP of the MAAC Conference Tournament, while earning MAAC Defensive Player of the Year. In 2013, Faas was named team captain, was an All-West/Midwest Regional second team selection. She ranked first in all of Division I in ground balls and second in caused turnovers. She was a MAAC All-Academic selection and was named MAAC Midfielder of the Year and was the Canisius College Female Athlete of the Year.

Faas currently works as a Career Services Coordinator at RIT in the Office of Career Services and Cooperative Education. She is a coach for Common Goal Lacrosse in Rochester where she teaches, organizes practices and team travel for youth girls.

She and her husband Mat Faas reside in Rochester with their son.
