Biography
Career: Appeared in 133 games, fourth most in program history … part of senior class that went 15-2 in the postseason, winning the 2012 NCAA Division III Tournament and back-to-back CHA Championships in 2014 and 2015.
2014-15: Served as assistant captain for the second straight season … named to the College Hockey America Championship All-Tournament Team … battled through pair of injuries to appear in 28 games, recording four assists … assisted on Carly Payerl’s game-winning goal in double overtime, lifting the Tigers to their second straight CHA Championship, 2-1 over Syracuse … had an assist and was plus-2 in a 4-1 win over Mercyhurst the previous afternoon in the semifinal … dished out an assist and was plus-2 in a 3-0 win at Rensselaer … second on the team with 75 blocked shots … blocked season-high eight shots in the regular season finale, a 1-0 win over Syracuse … had 18 blocked shots in the postseason and was plus-5 … fired 25 shots on goal … has one assist in 16 CHA contests … earned CHA All-Academic Team honors for the third straight season. 2011-12: Tied a single-season team record by playing in all 30 games … recorded three goals and 19 assists for 22 points … named to the Norwich ECAC East/West Challenge All-Tournament Team … made her collegiate debut in the season-opening 6-3 win over No. 8 Manhattanville … scored her first collegiate goal, that snapped a 1-1 tie and lifted the Tigers to a 4-1 win over defending National Champion Norwich in the ECAC East/West Challenge Championship … dished out a season-best four assists in a 15-0 win over Chatham … was plus-6 in a win over Chatham the next afternoon … had two assists and was plus-4 in a 5-1 win over No. 4 Elmira on “Make the Rink Pink” night … scored a power-play goal as part of her season-best two-goal performance in a 4-2 win over SUNY Potsdam … recorded three points in five postseason games … part of the nation’s top defensive unit that allowed just one goal per game … tied for fourth among rookies with 16 points (2-14-16) in 18 ECAC West games … Tigers were 14-1-0 when she recorded at least one point … recorded five multiple-point efforts. Before RIT: Played the 2010-11 season with the Stoney Creek Junior Sabres of the Provincial Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) with fellow incoming freshman Emilee Bulleid … dished out five assists in 28 games for Stoney Creek in 2010-11 … appeared in 11 games for Hamilton in 2009-10 … played varsity hockey, volleyball, softball, and ran track and field in high school … Paris District team captain in 2010-11 … led squad to the 2009 and 2011 Brant County Secondary School Athletic Association Championships … 2009-10 team MVP.
