2016: Named the RIT Senior Female Athlete of the Year for her great work on the softball field and soccer pitch … Liberty League honorable mention selection … hit career-high .375 with 15 runs scored and 21 hits in 27 games … stole three bases … had seven multiple-hit games … scored two runs and drove in two during a win over Medaille … scored seven runs during a five-game stretch, April 27 to April 30 … had two hits and scored two runs against SUNY Plattsburgh and Thomas … ripped seven hits over a four-game stretch, March 23 to April 10 … stole bases against Milikin, St. John Fisher, and St. Lawrence … had three hits in the crucial doubleheader sweep over St. Lawrence on the final day of the regular season that helped clinch a playoff berth … named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team. 2015: Appeared in 20 games, starting 14 … led the squad with five stolen bases … had a strong .966 fielding percentage … hit .205 with eight hits and three runs scored … had four hits and a pair of stolen bases in a doubleheader split at Clarkson … hit .294 in nine Liberty League games … scored twice, singled, and walked in a 9-0 win over Houghton … named to Liberty League All-Academic Team. 2014: Did not play due to injury.

2013: Played in three contests … made lone start against Nazareth and scored one run.

Also at RIT: Appeared in 39 games on the pitch for the women's soccer team … Named the 2012 Liberty League Rookie of the Year … started all 19 games on defense that season … suffered a season-ending injury just two games into the 2013 season … came back to play in all 18 games in 2014 on defense.

Before RIT: Played four years of varsity soccer at Greece Athena High School … earned All-Monroe County first team honors and was an All-Greater Rochester honorable mention selection in soccer … also played varsity basketball and softball.

Personal: Biomedical sciences major … daughter of Ellen and Jim Shoemaker … sister Chelsea was a standout soccer and softball player for the Tigers, serving as RIT and National Division III SAAC President.
