James Molnar is beginning his first season as Director of Hockey Operations with the RIT women’s hockey program. Molnar is no stranger to the program, having served as a student manager for the last three seasons. He will coordinate all travel, team meals, serve as the visiting team liaison and equipment manager among other duties.
Molnar joined the Tigers as a student manager prior to the 2012-13 season and has become a valuable member of the program, serving in a variety of roles since his arrival.
Originally from Fairport, Molnar played Junior B hockey with Maksymum of Rochester and graduated from Fairport High School in 2009.
Molnar earned his bachelor’s degree in physics in May, 2015, with a minor in mathematics, and resides in East Irondequoit.
