Biography
2015: Competed in five events … posted three top-75 finishes … ran a season-best 25:24.3 at the Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational … placed 29th at the Canisius Alumni Classic … earned Liberty League All-Academic honors.
2014: Did not compete … ran in the Tiger Trail run, a 1,400-mile, non-stop relay from Auburn, Alabama to Rochester from March 21-29 with the National Tigers for Tigers Coalition, a non-profit organization that raises awareness for the plight of tigers around the world.
Before RIT: Won the #1 Runner Award and Runner of the Week as a member of the cross-country team at Grand Island High School . . . named First Team All-League in each of her four years and took home Rookie of the Year Honors . . . named First Team All-League for Outdoor Track and was a Section VI Scholar Athlete . . . also played basketball and was chosen to play in the Senior All-Star game . . . named to the third-team in Niagara Gazette.
Personal: Physician assistant major ... daughter of Kathy and Richard Karpie.
