Biography
2007-08: Competed in both cross country and track … garnered All-Empire 8 second team honors in the 4 x 400-meter relay during both the indoor and outdoor seasons … recorded top times of 29.97 seconds in the 200-, 1:05.82 in the 400- and 1:25.06 in the 500-meters.
2006-07: Won the 400-meter hurdles at the RIT All-Comers meet in 1:13.01 … recorded a season-best time of 1:12.67 in the same event at Brockport.
2005-06: Finished with a top-time of 1:14.26 at the Raider Challenge in the 400-meter hurdles … also raced in the 400- and 500-meter dash events.
Before RIT: Competed in soccer and track and field at Williamsville North High School … was a two-time team track MVP … holds indoor school records in the 600-meters, along with the 4 x 200- and 4 x 400-meter relays.
Personal: Accounting major... born April 21, 1987, in Amherst, N.Y. … daughter of Laura and James Springate.
