• Four-time All-Western Massachusetts and three-time all-league selection at Minnechaug Regional High School.
• Also a two-time team-captain and single-season batting average record holder for the Falcons.
• Was a four-time honor student, two time National Honor Society member and an AP Scholar with Honors during her high school career.
• Wreaths Across America volunteer, also volunteered with youth softball clinics
 
PERSONAL
• Mackenzie Rose Blair was born in Springfield, Mass.
• Parents are Tempyl and Fred Gagnon and Ed Blair.
• Has two older siblings – Stef and Tim
• Cousin, Ali Dubois, graduated as the winningest pitcher in program history at D1 Boston University and was a three-time Patriot League Pitcher of the Year.
• Started playing softball at four years old because her mother, aunts and cousins all played.
• Lists her mother as having the most Influence on her athletic career – “She was always my biggest fan and was the one who got me started in softball. She was at every game I played, regardless of how far or how many days she had to take off work. Her being there always showed me I had a fan and someone believed in me and she is still always the first person to ask me how a game or a practice went.”
