Alyssa Serinis will enter her fourth season as an assistant coach with the RIT softball team in 2016-17. Last season, Serinis was honored as part of the Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year.

A local standout at Webster Thomas High School, Serinis played third base from 2004-07 and was a All-Monroe County first team selection in 2007 and two-time All-Monroe Country second team pick.

Collegiately, Serinis played one season at perennial power Ithaca in 2008, hitting .390, while helping lead the Bombers to fourth place finish in the Division III NCAA World Series. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Tampa and is working on a master’s degree in sport management from SUNY Cortland.

Serinis is also a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer and works at Gold’s Gym in Webster.
