Biography
2015-16: Competed in several field events during the indoor and outdoor season … recorded a career-best second place finish in the javelin with a personal best throw of 59.00 meters at the 2016 Geneseo Early Mid-Week … named the Liberty League Track and Field Rookie of the Week, April 3 … also set personal bests in shot put (13.02 meters) and weight throw (10.80 meters) … had nine top-10 finishes.
Before RIT: Ran at Tolland High School … was an all-conference member in the javelin throw junior year … school record holder in the shot put … was named team MVP for the indoor season as a senior … also played football and baseball.
Personal: Physics major … son of Alex and Jocelyn Callis … has one sibling, Katie.
