Biography
2015-16: Competed in several short and middle distance events … won the 200-yard and 500-yard freestyle vs. SUNY Oswego … tied a personal best 1:45.83 in the 200-yard freestyle at the 2016 UNYSCSA Championships … also set personal best time in the 100-yard (1:00.72) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:12.69) … named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team.
Before RIT: Swam varsity at Williamsville North High School…two-year captain…three-time MVP honoree…four-time section VI champion…six-time conference champion…top five in the state in 2012.
Personal: Electrical engineering major… son of Pam and Robert Berus…has two siblings, Stephen and Kim.
