Biography
2018-19: Competed in several short and middle distance events.
2016-17: Competed in several short and middle distance events … set personal bests in the 100-yard backstroke (1:04.14) and 100-yard butterfly (1:07.08) … had four top-10 finishes.
2015-16: Competed in several short and middle distance events … had a personal best 1:57.77 in the 200-yard freestyle at the 2016 UNYSCSA Championships … also set a personal best 1:04.38 in the 100-yard backstroke vs. SUNY Oswego … had three top-10 finishes.
Before RIT: Swam all four years at Case High School ... held two relay records ... team captain senior year ... earned third-team all-conference honors in the 400-yard freestyle relay in 2015 ... earned Academic All-America honors from the National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association in 2015 ... also recieved Academic All-State honors from the Wisconsin Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association ... swam in the 2015 World Deaf Swimming Championships in San Antonio.
Personal: Mechanical/electrical engineering major ... is the son of Juli and Anthony Ricchio ... has two siblings, Gino and Tia.
