Dave Ames begins his 18th season as an assistant coach at RIT in 2018. Since joining the coaching staff, Ames has played a key role in the Tigers program working with the defensive unit.
 
“Dave’s contribution over the last 17 years has been significant,” says RIT head coach Bill Garno. “In addition to his help with identifying and scouting prospective student athletes for the program, Dave has great knowledge and experience coaching soccer and is a tremendous teacher of “the details” for the young men in our program.”

Ames has been active coaching youth soccer in the Rochester area and is employed currently at Canfield & Tack.
